  Dumpster Day!
The bimonthly Dumpster Day will begin at its usual three locations (Wal*Mart/Herberger's & Butte Plaza Mall/Montana Standard parking lots) at 10:00 a.m. To date we have collected/recylced 171,799# or the equivalent of 86 BABY ELEPHANTS!

  2010 Anaconda Day of Caring
The 6th Annual Day(s) of Caring event for 2010 will begin with the Anaconda projects. Volunteers will gather at noon at CCCS-Discovery House for the traditional BBQ. They will fan out across the community working on three different projects.

  2010 Butte Day of Caring
The Butte 2010 Day of Caring will begin at noon at the Montana Tech Gazebo for the traditional BBQ. Board Member Bill Robinson (MSE) will be the head cook again. Over 150 volunteers are expected to invest 4 hours of "sweat equity" into several Butte Projects.

  BornLearning Trail Ribbon Cutting
To introduce the BornLearning Trail to the people of Butte, there will be a ribbon cutting at the southern end of Clark's Park at 1:00p.m. Cutting the ribbon will be representatives from the United Way of Butte and Anaconda's board, the Town Pump Foundation, Sunrise Kiwanis, and Wal*Mart, all of whom made this possible with their generous donations to purchase the kit.

Safe Space and other United Way partners will be on hand with special activities for the children.
