Community-Wide Children's Book Drive
Join us for our 3rd Annual Community-Wide Book Drive where we are collecting new/gently worn children's books to be distributed during the low-income summer lunch program. Last year we collected 1,722 books for children ranging from infant through high school. Help us push that total to 2,000!
Collection sites include Butte: Books & Books, Second Edition Books, and the Butte Plaza Mall. In Anaconda: Hearst Free Library and the PCA Center.
So, while your doing your spring cleaning, keep the United Way in mind as we strive to get books into the hands of children across our two communities! |

Dumpster Day
Join us for our bimonthly Dumpster Day/Recycling Event beginning at 10:00 a.m. and running until 2:00p.m. at our regular collection sites -- Wal*Mart, Herberger's/Butte Plaza Mall, and the Montana Standard rear parking lot (use Quartz Street).
To date, we have collected 150,244# or the equivalent of 75 baby elephants. Help us keep as much as we can out of the local landfill, while raising funds for our Community Impact projects.
