Book Drive Distribution - Atherton Apartments
The first distribution of the 2,100+ books collected during our recent Community Book Drive(s) will be given out at 6:00p.m. at the Atherton Apartment Community Room. Dan Charon will be the story teller for the evening's event. The children will then pick several books to add to their personal libraries. |

Bood Drive Distribution - Legion Oasis Community Room
The second of the Butte Book Drive distribution of the 2,100+ books collected will be at noon at the Legion Oasis Community Room. The guest storytellers will be Marian Jensen and Emily Papa. |

Day of Caring - Legion Oasis - Montana Tech Football Team
Coach Green and his knightly football team will gather at 5:00p.m. at Legion Oasis to be the initial project for the United Way of Butte and Anaconda's 2010 Day(s) of Caring. Deb Smith, Manager, is tickled to have their help once again this year. |

Book Distribution - Chester Steele Park
The third Butte Book Drive distribution will take place at noon at Chester Steele Park. The guest storyteller will be Shane Cox, accompanied by his brother Reese and Quinn as they bring "Tom Sawyer" to life! |

4th Annual Stuff the Bus
United Way of Butte and Anaconda is partnering for the 4th year in a row with The Salvation Army to collect school supplies for low-income children. School buses will be park at Wal*Mart and Kmart parking lots from 10:00 - 2:00 to collect the supplies in this one-day event. Last year 150 children received backpacks filled with brand new school supplies. Donations are welcome!! |

Book Distribution - Copperhead Square - Anaconda
The final book distribution will take place at Copperhead Square, a beautiful park adjacent to Anaconda High School. The guest storytellers will be Michael and Andrea Greene -- brought back another year by popular demand!
Assisting with the book distribution will be volunteers from the local DAV chapter. |
